shoedazzle

Maybe I'm late learning about this or have been living under a rock, or whatever, but until yesterday I had never heard of Shoedazzle. Apparently women love this site because you can get shoes for $39.95 a pair. And since everyone's favourite style icon Kim Kardashian helps to choose the site, I could not resist checking it out.

(I really hope you caught the sarcasm there.)

Since I clearly have nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon than avoid the sun, I spent a little bit of time playing around on this site. I clicked some boxes under pretty shoes and then was told to wait for a little bit until my 'ShoeDazzle Stylists' had my personalized showroom complete.
The wait was definitely not worth it. The shoes looked cheap and like they would fall apart after a couple wears. It hurt me a little, just because I am so in love with shoes and will usually give everything a chance.

These shoes don't do anything for me either.

I guess all in all I'm frustrated with this service and won't be using it. I suppose I can't be expecting stunning shoes for that amount of money, but I was expecting something a little better.

However, I feel there is a a little positive to my test of the site. I really love the look of this pair. They're simple but would spice up a skinny jean in a second!

What do you think of ShoeDazzle? Have you checked it out? Let us know what your thoughts are in the comments or on Facebook.

  1. I saw this post on twitter when I searched "Shoe Dazzle" and I'm so happy I read it. At the moment I am furious with this site! For the second month this year I forgot to "skip the month" within the first 5 days and was charged my $39.95 and overdrew my bank account that I no longer use and was charged another $30 fee. When I called customer service I was told that because I was given a "one-time refund" in February I was not going to be refunded my money. When I told the woman that I have tried over and over to remove my billing information she told me that because I was in the "club" I couldn't do that and would have to remember to skip month by month. If these shoes were worth MORE than $20 I would understand but they are CRAP. I've ordered over 10 pairs of shoes from them and only kept 1 that broke after the first wear. None of their shoes fit unless you are 90 pounds and your foot is skin and bones. I wear a 10 in every designers shoe but for some reason all the ShoeDazzle shoes squeeze my foot and hurt like hell. BUYER BEWARE! You are better off getting a pair of shoes on sale from Macy's, Marshal's or TJ Maxx than wasting your money on these. Kim K has some real thinking to do, she is selling people sh*t and making even more money. Hope my rant helps some people make the decision to stay off ShoeDazzle...
